After Care Advice

Aftercare is an essential part of any beauty treatment, as it can significantly impact the results and longevity of the treatment. Proper aftercare helps to ensure that your skin and nails remain hydrated, healthy, and protected from damage after the treatment. Following the correct aftercare advice can make a significant difference in how long your results last.

Read our guidance below to help ensure you achieve the best possible results
in any of your treatments.

Facials

  • After your facial avoid wearing make-up for the rest of the day
  • Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and enhance your new glowing complexion!
  • Avoid UV exposure, steam rooms and other excessive heats, perfume products,
hair removal, fake tan and any other skin
    treatments for 24 hours
  • Do not exfoliate or use any strong treatments such as retinol for 72 hours
  • Book your next appointment for a facial!

Manicure & Pedicure

  • Apply Solar Oil every day to encourage longevity of wear and healthy cuticles
  • Avoid excessive heat for first 24hrs (no long hot baths!)
  • Use rubber gloves and generally avoid long periods of time immersing nails in water
  • Contact with chlorine and suncream can affect the colour of your shellac so always rinse to remove
  • Never use your nails as tools!
  • Never pick or peel of the shellac as this can cause damage to the nail underneath, book an appointment for a soak off or purchase a removal pack to use at home

Massage

  • Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and keep hydrated, avoid alcohol and caffeine for 12 hours
  • Gently mobilise with neck rolls, shoulder rolls and simple chin to chest stretches. Maybe go for a relaxing walk
  • Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours after your massage. Take it easy to allow your muscles to enjoy the full benefit of the treatment

Eye Treatments - Lash Lift & Brow Lamination

  • Avoid water including steam for at least 24 hours after treatment
  • Avoid sleeping with pressure on the lashes & brows
  • Use a Spoolie brush to gentle comb the hairs into position and apply a conditioning serum
    daily

Waxing

  • Any sensitised skin should return to normal 24 – 48 hours after a wax. Following a few simple guidelines will help
  • Exfoliate between waxing appointments (but not for the first 3 days after wax) and moisturise daily
  • Avoid – UV exposure, excessive heat, perfumed products, touching the area, tight fitting clothing, friction, makeup & fake tan
